You’re a powerhouse. You take care of others but you are much more than that!
You know you got more inside of you than just being the family’s cleaning lady and master organizer. You are more than “Moooooom, where are my socks?”
You’re driven, smart, and toughened by a life full of ups and downs. But when it comes to getting your blog out there, it can feel like you’re all over the place with no idea what you need to do. Even though you are not afraid of hard work!
It’s just so hard to find TIME in your busy schedule! And if you do have a minute to yourself, your brain is fried and you don’t even know what to do next to make your blog a success – finally!
Fact is … you can easily burn hours upon hours without getting anywhere with your blogging project when you have no clear path to follow!
(Ask me how I know that!)
Sometimes, life gets in the way and you find yourself taking care of your sick child instead of writing that long overdue blog post! And don’t even think about social media! Your accounts collect cyber dust and you don’t even know when was your last comment.
You need support! But the right one! You can’t dedicate your life to blogging or chain yourself to the desk 24/7. And you don’t fancy being glued to your phone, either, while preaching screen-free time in your family!
Bestie, I see you! Hello there, I’m Carolin, and I know all about what you’re dealing with! In case, you’re brand-new here (welcome!), let me tell you a little bit about me…
- I gave up my career in life science practically on the day I earned my magna cum laude Ph.D. because it just didn’t make sense to me any longer.
- I suffer from chronic pain but refuse to give up blogging although I need to move at turtle pace at times. (and was one inch from throwing in the towel more than once)
- I’m a mom to an only child and need to carefully balance all that is on my plate without having her at the screen all day!
I started “Mom Can Do This” because I know I can be more than “Maaamaaa!” and you can, too!
I believe we all deserve the chance and possibilities to share our message with the world and get it out there!
And I try everything I can to make this easier for you!
Because it’s heart-breaking to think of another overwhelmed mom ready to give up on her dreams because it feels too hard!
Because your voice deserves to be heard!
Because you matter.
I want you to be happy blogging, feeling accomplished!
I’ve helped email subscribers and students in my courses and workshops create amazing things for their blogs that they can be proud of and show off!
Without the blahblah and marketing tricks! You and I just don’t have time for this!
My favorite thing about this work is that I could make it fit my busy and sometimes troubled life! And not the other way round!
Plus, I just LOVE to read testimonials like this:
This is what I want for you! Results. All while putting the joy back into blogging!
My approach is unique because it puts you at the center! I know all the advice out there is 50% BS and 50% complicated. You need easy. You need fast.
You don’t have hours to create 100 social posts and pins each week! But you can still get results! I’m an expert at stripping away the non-essential and getting done the rest in tiny pockets of time.
I’m the master of getting away with minimum effort. That’s how I kept my blog afloat and money coming in during the pandemic while homeschooling my girl and suffering severe health issues!
You too can build a blog you can’t stop talking about! A blog that easily survives your next blogging hiatus! So, if you are ready to blog like a rockstar within the time budget you have, let’s connect!

If I told you I was a Ph.D. leaving a promising career in science to live in Morocco in financial straits, earning less than 3 Dollars per hour and loving it, would you believe me?
And yet, this is what I did.
The years to come were tough, instructional, full of real-life experiences, joy, and setbacks. I wanted to make the most out of life with whatever means I have to my hands.
What made me a passionate mom blogger?
I now live in the Ruhr district where I was born. So, you probably know by now, that English is not my native language and I apologize for all the little mistakes and big fat blunders. Sorry!
I’m a mom of a little girl, wife, writer, food lover, and servant of God. I am a German Muslim and I have a happy and diverse family of Moroccan and German origin that lives in several countries.
Let’s go to Africa
In 2009, my husband and I decided to go to Morocco and live there happily ever after. We had to get by with one average Moroccan salary of $600 a month plus what I was making on the side. So I worked as a teacher for German and freelance writer (starting with Textbroker).

Moroccan Grandma’s House
A homemaker is born
In addition to fighting with the budget, I had to learn homemaking and cooking from scratch. I needed to learn fast because I just would not find all that convenient stuff in the stores that I used in Germany. Unfortunately, I was not prepared or experienced at all. I read the cookbooks I had brought with me over and over again and browsed the web for hours. I learned to clean a filthy bathtub with simple means, to make my own mozzarella or use old flatbread in about a million ways.
And I learned that whatever your situation is, you can always do something.
Back to Germany
Well, happily ever after lasted three years. Then, we decided to go back to Germany. But I wanted to share all that I have learned and finally decided to do it in a blog – this blog. And maybe one day, if it is God’s will, we will go back and live happily in that beautiful sunny country again.
Things I love
Coffee.
The magic of every new beginning.
Crafting something out of nothing. Like a piece of text or a beautiful homepage. When I’m not writing, I read or cook. In addition to that, I love the sun, sweet treats and sitting in a café.
